Weezer and Pumpkin

The next two paintings were painted for my friend Larisa Scharikin who I met on twitter. She works tirelessly to help animal charities all over the world. She is doing a fantastic job. She does a lot for Dogs in Brazil who I support too. We are doing as much as we can to help them and, in the past few weeks we managed with the help of several others, to raise the funds for Dogs in Brazil to finalize the  non profit charity status paperwork.

This is Pumpkin. One ear up and one ear down, her usual pose. Larisa had me paint this for her room mate for Christmas.

This is Larisa's dog Weezer.

At the moment he is very sick,  suffering from a severe attack of Pancreatitis, a life threatening condition. He is spending everyday at the vets to receive IV fluids and medication and it is costing a fortune. So far the bill is $1500 and going up by the day.

Larisa, as I said previously, works all the hours God sends, helping others. It would be good if we could now help her.

I have sent her a little, but she needs a lot more. If you would like to contribute, please email me and I will send you the email address registered with her PayPal account. Any amount, however large or small will be appreciated.

I am asking you to help because Larisa will not ask for help herself. Thank you

New Paintings

Well, I have had loads going on over the past few weeks. We are busy trying to find a new home to rent, which is not easy when you have pets.

However, I have managed to paint a few Pet Portraits.

This is Isabella - She is a beautiful little tripawed mixed breed dog that was painted for someone in Georgia USA. It was for Christmas.

This is Isabella too. It is a smudge painting. I painted this portrait just for fun. Isabella is learning new tricks. In the reference photo she is sitting with this bone balanced on her head.
